Casumo's FAQ section does well to cover the basics. Here the questions are separated into account, payments, withdrawals, bonus, technical, adventure, challenges, tournaments, licenses and play okay. This final section is dedicated to problem gambling and comes with help links and budget tools.

Casumo Design and Usability

Casumo is a bit odd when it comes to design. The main page of the site can be almost empty, with just a few links to navigate. This is a bit of a double edged sword. While this helps avoid clutter I can't help but feel better use of the space might help with efficiency. What really stands out is the whole theme behind the design. This design offered by Casumo operates as a sort of game within a game. While you play games the site has you go on an ‘adventure'.  What this effectively boils down to is a fun little system of bonuses and rewards. The system isn't especially complex but it does really add an entire dimension to online gambling which is extremely rare.

When it comes to usability, Casumo works well. The website is fast to respond and works with the sparse layout. Clicking around this site and having a look around is faster than pretty much any site out there, which is really fantastic. Most navigation is performed simply through the four main buttons to the left of the page. One gives casino information, another user information, one works with currency and the other button is the game browser. No confusion here, and that is great.

While Casumo does not offer anything in the way of an actual app it does run just fine on most mobile devices. This is because it runs on HTML5, which most devices can work with without issue. The main site is slightly modified when accessing it from a mobile device. This helps the site run better and only offer the types of games which work with mobile devices.

  • Compatible Systems

The app offered by Casumo  works on the following main systems: Apple iOS version 7.0.X and above, Android 3.X and above, Windows Phone version 7 and above, and Blackberry OS10 and above. Alternatively it should work on most systems capable of running HTML5.

The fastest of these methods are through E-Wallets, with withdrawal time being around 0-24 hours, with credit/debit card withdrawal being around 1-3 days and bank transfers being 2-3 days. These are all on top of a 24 hour pending time. Cheques are not available from Casumo as a form of withdrawal. There is no withdrawal limit for Casumo.

As is standard with gambling website bonuses, these are cut into two different forms. These are as follows:

  • Welcome bonuses

On Casumo the player is given bonuses on the first five deposits.

First Deposit: The first deposit gives a 200% bonus up to €50. After this deposit the player will also be gifted 200 free spins on selected games. These will be given out at a rate of 20 per day for each day which the player logs in to Casumo. These only occur for the first 9 straight days.

Second Deposit: The second deposit gives a 50% bonus up to €150.

Third Deposit: The third deposit gives a 50% bonus up to €200.

Forth Deposit: The forth deposit gives a bonus of 25% up to €400.

Fifth Deposit: The fifth deposit gives a bonus of 25% up to €400.

  • Current Promotions

There are two main ways in which a player at Casumo can earn additional bonuses. The first is by signing up to their newsletter, which will have them sent directly to the player's email. The second is by simply playing. As a user plays their character levels up and the player can be given random gifts. These usually come in the form of free-spins for selected games.

Our Experience and General Reviews

My experience with Casumo has been a positive one. The site itself runs well and is simple to figure out and not a single part of the site refused to work for me.

General reviews of Casumo are extremely high, with most rating it at 8/10 or higher.

Casumo is a difficult casino to compare to other, because it is so trendsetting. When it comes to standard games and pokies in particular this site holds its place well. It does suffer a bit in terms of live games, though it does offer some.

The wagering requirements are somewhere on the mid to low end, and their bonuses are fairly standard. The help section is great, though the lack of telephone contact options may be frustrating for some.

The real comparison here comes down to what the site wants to do with its whole adventure system. The idea of playing a character playing these games is an interesting one, and is a concept which Casumo has obviously put a lot of thought and effort into. Exactly how much a person will care for this is very subjective, but if you're open to it then it can be great.

General consensus about Casumo seems to be that it is both unique and of high quality.

Popular gaming ranking site has it a 8.3/10, while other sites are more generous with rating it at 9.2/10, giving it an 86% and giving it a 9/10%.

Casumo doesn't have the largest social media presence, but they still have a nice chunk carved out for themselves.

Casumo Facebook Page

The Facebook page has just over 8,500 followers and is very active in both creating content and responding to messages.

Casumo Twitter Page

Their Twitter page is slightly less popular but still somewhat active. Here they have just shy of 6,000 followers and last posted a month before this review was written.

Our Rating

A difficult site to rate due to how different it can be. Generally speaking the selection of games is great, as it the layout. What it comes down to is whether or not you as the user appeciate the whole adventure theme they have going on. If you like that sort of extra layer then you might love it. On the other hand, if you are a player who simply wishes to play without having to worry about these distractions then it might be not quite to your tastes.

4.4/5 stars
